The vision of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Baylor University is:

to develop an admiration of God’s creation by discovering and understanding the physical laws that govern the universe;
to serve the world by applying this knowledge for the betterment of society;
to engage students and the general public with an appreciation of physics and astronomy; and
