Minor in Physics
The requirements for a Minor in Physics are as follows:
- PHY 1420 General Physics I
- PHY 1430 General Physics II
- PHY 2350 Modern Physics
- Nine semester hours of physics at the "3000" or "4000" level
Although it is not a requirement of the minor, PHY 2360 Mathematical and Computational Physics is a prerequisite for many "3000" and "4000" level courses and it is strongly recommended. Under special circumstances it is possible to waive this course prerequisite.
