Careers of Recent Graduate Students

What do our graduates do after obtaining their degrees? There are a wide variety of career paths physics PhD's pursue, and that's one of the attractive features of Ph.D. in Physics. Many of our graduate students stay in academia first as a postdoc or as an assistant professor, and some move on to the private sector directly after graduation or after doing a postdoc in academia.
